The Rector of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Kibeho would kindly like to invite you to the feast of the installation of relic of Saint John Paul II in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Kibeho. The occasion will be on Sunday 26th April 2015, fourth Sunday of Easter - Vocation day and the vigil of the first anniversary of John Paul II canonisation.
Program of feast is as follows:
At 09:00 am: Rosary to meditate: rightful mystery, (instituted by Saint John Paul II), for Universal Church’s intentions and for pilgrims who come at Kibeho. Sacrament of Reconciliation.
At 10:00 am: Session on the life of Saint John Paul II and sharing on the theme.
At 11:00 am: Celebration of Holy Eucharist by His Lordship Luciano Russo, Apostolic Nuncio in Rwanda.

Why the relic of Saint John Paul II to the Sanctuary of our Lady of Kibeho?
SAINT JOHN PAUL II:
- He was great friend of Rwanda and of Rwandese.
- He contributed to the Church recognition of the apparitions of Virgin Mary at Kibeho.
- “TOTUS TUUS” fully self-committed and entrusted his life to Virgin Mary.
- He was a great Marianist, who taught the truly piety and truly and authentic devotion to the Virgin Mary, Mother of God.
- He prays for pilgrims and for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Kibeho.

O God, who are rich in mercy
and who willed that Saint John Paul the Second
should preside as Pope over your universal Church,
grant, we pray, that instructed by his teaching,
we may open our hearts to the grace of Christ,
the sole Redeemer of mankind.
Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
