The Rector of the Sanctuary, would kindly like to invite you to the Solemnity of Our Lady of Kibeho Sanctuary on 14th August, 2015. The following is the programme of the Assumption Solemnity in Our Lady of Kibeho Sanctuary:
August 14, 2015: Vigil
At 04:30 pm: The Vigil Mass presided over by Mgr Papias Musengamana the Vicar general of Kabgayi Diocese.
Readings:
1st Reading: 1 Chr 15: 3-4.15-16; 16; 1-2 (in french)
2nd Reading: 1 Cor 15: 54b-57 (in english)
Gospel: Lk 11: 27-28 (in kinyarwanda)
- After the Holy Eucharistic celebration, a procession with candles, will start from
Sanctuary - Source - Camping - Health Centre - Regina Pacis – and end at the Sanctuary.
- After the procession, the vigil continues with various songs in honor to Our Lady.
At 08:30 pm: Conference
At 09:30 pm: Rosary +Sacrament of Reconciliation.
- Songs in different languages according to some tradition groups present at the vigil.
August 15, 2015: The Assumption day
At 09:00 am: Sacrament of Reconciliation + Rosary of Seven Sorrows.
At 11:00 am: Mass presided over by H.E. Célestin Hakizimana, the Bishop of Gikongoro.
