The Rector of the Sanctuary, would kindly like to invite you to the Assumption Solemnity in Our Lady of Kibeho Sanctuary on 15th August, 2018.

This is the programme:

August 14, 2018: Vigil.

At 04:30 pm: The Vigil Mass presided over by H. E. Célestin Hakizimana, the Bishop of Gikongoro.

Readings:

1st Reading: 1 Chr 15: 3-4.15-16; 16; 1-2 (in french)

2nd Reading: 1 Cor 15: 54b-57 (in english)

Gospel: Lk 11: 27-28 (in kinyarwanda)

 

- After the Holy Eucharistic celebration, a procession with candles.

- After the procession, the vigil continues with various songs in honor to Our Lady.

At 08:30 pm: Conference.

At 09:00 pm: Rosary +Sacrament of Reconciliation.

- Songs in different languages according to some tradition groups present at the vigil.

 

August 15, 2018: The Assumption day

 

At 09:00 am: Sacrament of Reconciliation + Rosary of Seven Sorrows.

At 11:00 am: Holy Mass presided over by H.E. Célestin Hakizimana, the Bishop of Gikongoro and by His Excellency Andrzej Józwowicz, the Apostolic Nuncio in Rwanda.

Readings:

1st Reading: Ap 11: 19a; 12: 1-6a. 10ab (in french)

2nd Reading: 1 Cor 15: 20-27 (in english)

Gospel: Lk 1: 39-56 (in kinyarwanda)
